| Former military communication station, set up in a dairy barn to intercept enemy messages during WWII, later becoming an installation specializing in intelligence and electronic warfare research and development. The base was closed by BRAC in 1997 and transferred to a civilian development organization. 2,200 personnel were employed at Vint Hill. |
