Based in Dhahran, Saudi Aramco is the state-owned company of Saudi Arabia, and owns 99% of the oil in a nation whose proven oil reserves are more than twice those of the next most oil rich country, Iran, and 12 times those of the USA. Saudi Aramco produces around 8 million barrels of oil per day, five times that of ExxonMobil, the largest U.S. oil company. |
