| The Marshall Center is NASA's lead center for transportation systems and microgravity research, hosting research centers for materials, biotechnology, global hydrology and climate studies, astrophysics, payload utilization, propulsion, avionics, space environment and optics technologies. It features NASA's largest underwater training centers, and employs more than 3,000 people on 1,800 acres in Huntsville, Alabama. Its primary mission is to lead the Agency to develop and maintain space transportation and propulsion systems and conduct microgravity research. |
